Jamie started his business career in the family printing business in Australia where he learned many vital skills in managing a successful $5M organization and leading a team of 35 people.
After working in the family business for 10yrs it was time to venture abroad. He met his wife Erin (who is Canadian) while she was travelling through Australia. Knowing the time was right to move onto a new venture; Jamie put a succession plan in place, extracted himself from the family business and moved his life to Canada.

Once landing in Canada, Jamie worked with several small businesses in simple roles, essentially taking a year off to look for the next opportunity. While working with these small businesses he saw an opportunity to help them be more successful. Conducting further due diligence Jamie found the Business Coaching franchise ActionCOACH which was founded in Australia. He bought a license, went through training and hung up his shingle. Jamie enjoys a challenge. He had never worked in sales and was now selling a service that at the time no one had heard of, in a country where no one knew him. It was only 3 short years before Jamie was awarded the fastest growing franchise globally (amongst 1100 coaches internationally).

Around the same time Jamie formed a partnership with another coach and together they built a successful team of 6 people and have had the privilege of working with many business owners. Through the success of helping others Jamie has learned a great deal about many industries.

With a vision of owning several businesses, Jamie sold out of his partnership in preparation to start acquiring businesses. Jamie still operates his coaching practice working with a handful of select clients.
The other side to Jamie’s business interests is Real Estate. Over the past 10yrs he and his wife Erin have accumulated a portfolio of residential real estate which they’ll continue to grow.

Jamie is actively involved in the community being a past president of the Burlington Chamber of Commerce and an active Rotarian. He is also frequently asked to speak for various associations and organizations on helping their business owner clients grow their businesses in a sustainable way.

Jamie and Erin have 2 young children. They enjoy all sorts of outdoor activities, travel and spending time with friends.
The values that have created Jamie’s success are fun, balance, personal responsibility and persistence. He has been described by his clients as a bulldog with a smile 🙂
